The NHL season 2025-26 is approaching and another sign that it is on the horizon is the release of the national TV schedule. The Tampa Bay Lightning has 15 national content games between the TNT and ESPN platforms.

Lightning games on ABC, ESPN channels
Eight lightning games are broadcast on Disney’s points of sale.
The first match on national television with the Lightning will be their road game against the Washington Capitals on October 14.
An important highlight is that Alex Ovechkin is still the first NHL player who reaches 900 goals. He is on 897, only three away from the goal. Given that it will be the fourth game of the season, the chance that this moment will come during this game is high, so ESPN will probably be asked.
