Suryakumar Yadav returns to domestic T20s at a crucial time
One of the biggest talking points is the return of Suryakumar Yadav to Mumbai’s domestic T20 lineup. Although he had a sensational IPL season earlier this year – amassing 717 runs at a strike rate of 167.91 – his form in international T20s has dipped drastically. Over 15 innings in 2025, the star hitter scored just 184 runs, an average of 15.33.
Mumbai’s decision to include him is seen as both a strategic and timely move.
