Surprising reason Pamela Anderson sold her American house to live in Canada – realestate.com.au

After having lived in California for many years, Pamela Anderson was finished with the US.

The “Baywatch” star loaded its old Malibu house in 2021 for no less than $ US14.9 million ($ A22.8 million).

The Canadian American actress initially bought the country in 2000 for $ US1.8 million ($ A2.7 million) and built the property from the ground.

“There were a lot of sexy, fun times here,” she told the New York Post Made memories in her former home in 2021.

Now the media personality is back in her native country. She currently lives on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

Called accady, which means “peaceful, rustic place”, the building has been in the “Home Improvement” star family for generations.

“I think it’s a bit like a wild flower sanctuary: mysticism, very romantic. I live in a rainforest, so it just feels whole, I don’t know, healthy,” she told Architectural Digest in October 2024.

“Of course I like neutral colors. I love all the linen, and everything is very earthy and wood and white and concrete, and I love that too.

“It’s eclectic, I like to have fun. It is bursting with memories of my childhood, so it triggers!”

Anderson made the decision to move to Canada during her marriage to Dan Hayhurst, which lasted from 2020 to 2022.

“I feel more regularly at my sustainable ranch on Vancouver Island with space to save more animals,” she told the post.

Anderson known that Better houses and gardens That she was not in a “good space” when she made the decision to leave Hollywood and go back to Canada.

“I don’t know what has happened in recent decades, but I now feel so far away from the image of who I was. I felt very sad and lonely,” she told the outlet.

“I was hard for myself, and I thought I spent my family a lot and spent my children so much.

“I came to a point where I decided to go home and to disappear and go into my garden.”

Anderson could not be happier to leave her past behind and has no regrets in her previous Hollywood star row for a simpler lifestyle.

“People have this pneumatic kind of image from me from playboy to ‘baywatch’, to my rock ‘n’ roll -type spouses, to everything else,” she said.

“And as much as I threw every dinner and cooking all those meals for family and my children, it was not what was publicly seen.

“But I also played the image that was made around me. I am happy that I did all that, but I am really happy that I am now where I am now.

“I think the most important part is, I made it all. And now it is such a relief that I become myself and enjoy this time.”

The acting career of Anderson started when she landed the role of CJ Park in ‘Baywatch’ of 1992-97.

Anderson briefly moved to France during the Covid Pandemie before he finally returned to Canada.

“It was at the beginning and during the Lockdown. Before I was in France for two years, lived in Marseille, and then I flew to La to La then to Canada,” she told Better Homes & Gardens.

“I bought the property and started renovating it. I mean, you should see the photos from before. It was expired and rotten on the ground.

“I lived in another small house on the beach that I had livable.”

Anderson first appeared in Playboy Magazine in the February 1990 edition as a Playmate of the Month.

She received recognition for regular performances in the Playboy of Hugh Hefner and became the most common cover model of the magazine.

Her acting career started when she landed the role of CJ Park in ‘Baywatch’ of 1992-97.

The mother of two Sons Zonen Brandon and Dylan with Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee. Anderson and Lee married from 1995-98.
