Supercomputer makes surprising Liverpool prediction

Supercomputer makes surprising Liverpool prediction

A newly run supercomputer simulation has produced a surprising Premier League table prediction that could see Liverpool finish in the top four this season despite their inconsistent form.

While Arne Slot’s side have struggled to match last season’s ruthless dominance, the data-driven forecast expects a resurgent second half of the season to secure Champions League football at Anfield.

Arsenal becomes champion, but Liverpool finishes in the top four

According to The sunusing a supercomputer simulation, Arsenal will finally win the league and quite comfortably, nine points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.

Liverpool are in third place despite their poor form. They returned to Premier League glory on Sunday, beating West Ham 2-0.

Fans will be hoping they can now make a winning run to put pressure on the top.

Chelsea, who earned an important point against league leaders Arsenal last weekend, are expected to finish fourth, three points behind the Reds, while Ruben Amorim’s Manchester Untied are expected to finish fifth.

Tottenham and the bottom half

Spurs are expected to finish in the bottom half for the second consecutive season, with the supercomputer predicting an 11th-place finish for Thomas Frank’s side.

Tottenham are currently twelfth in the Premier League after suffering another defeat this weekend. The north London club have struggled to make an impact under new manager Thomas Frank, with problems both on and off the pitch.

The relegation battle

The three teams looking to join the Championship are Leeds United, Burnley and Wolves.

Wolves have been woeful and are yet to record a win in the Premier League, so the calls for relegation are not surprising.

Perhaps the most surprising prediction is that of Sunderland, who are backed to finish 16th, but their form says otherwise.

They recorded another win this weekend and were 6th in the table with 22 points, just two points behind Chelsea in third place.

The Black Cats have been a real surprise package this season and there’s no reason why they can’t finish in the top half of the table.
