Suns fans fall in love with Kaman Maluach after simple action in victory over Lakers

The Phoenix Suns started their four matches in the Leisten on Friday with an impressive 103-81 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, with the valley that is enthusiastic about the new schedule that their front office has collected. They may be a reconstruction group this coming season – and most likely after – but they will also be very nice to watch.

With the expectations lowered and the schedule was younger and more defensive under head coach Jordan Ott, the entire fan base was united in their conviction that the game was the best they watched the team in years. It certainly felt that way, and it also seems that the Suns will catch a number of opponents this coming season.

Kaman Maluach beat Deandre Ayton in Center Battle.

With news that came from the training camp in the days before the game that big man Mark Williams would not play an injury, this was a great opportunity for Kaman Maluach Rookie Center to show what he could do. He did not start the game – second year ahead Oso ighodaro rightly got the nod – but in a 10 -minute cameo had four points and six boards.

The attacking game of Maluach was almost the same as the glimpse we saw in Summer League. That means that it was raw and did not consist of a single movement that he will be able to turn every night to score. That will be on time, but the four points he saved were a fair reflection of his output attacking.

Yet it was still more than former Phoenix first overall choice Deandre Ayton was able to collect 18 minutes as a starter for the Lakers, his first game in the purple and gold that was bought out in the low season by the Portland Trail Blazers. Devin Booker was less impressed by his former teammate when he spoke to the media before the game, and he was ended up.

This was just a small subplot for a fascinating game in which the Suns did not have grene and so booker could go 24 points. Dillon Brooks also played as the kind of threat fans will hold. Back -Urdsupcentrum Nick Richards also gave the Suns a number of nice minutes, but Maluach undoubtedly beat the story.

Phoenix rightly caught a lot of stick because he had taken him away for Jusuf Nurkic, but that now looks justified after he had seen an attacking challenged Groot in Maluach. Depending on how long Williams comes out, this is hopefully a sign of things that come for the 19-year-old this season.
