Welcome to another edition of 6-Banner Sunday, a joint production between The assembly call And In the hallWhere we emphasize the five most essential IU basketball stories from the past week, plus to see how the other IU sports programs are doing.
The exhibition games took place in Puerto Rico to give a first look at what the new squad of the new Hoosier coach Darian Darian could look like. In the end it was another comeback victory for IU to finish a perfect 3-0 trip.
In addition, recruiting and the football season are approaching. As usual, we will end with weekly shows and a look at other Indiana sports, which was emphasized by women’s football that opened the season with a victory.

Banner #1-iu beats mega superbet to complete Puerto Rico trip with 3-0 record
De Hoosiers were behind in the second quarter against Serbian Professional Squad Mega Superbet in Puerto Rico for the second time. During large margins and losing large, a primary problem was in previous seasons for IU.
While these competitions were exhibitions that had little influence on the future, IU made a huge comeback. This time, however, the Hoisiers did not take over complete control in the second half and instead won an 81-80 thriller.
The game was not broadcast live on TV or radio. In the hall, however, was on site and offered highlights, interviews and analysis.
Banner #2 – Puerto Rico Trip Summary
While the journey had bumps on the road with the enormous shortages, the Hoosiers finally ended up a perfect 3-0.
The players connected as a team while they gained confidence during the trip of a week.
Lamar Wilkerson also showed the potential to be the player he was recruited.
However, Wilkerson was not the only one who flashed, because several other IU players had strong performance, giving the program a new start. Josh Pos also made the trip to Puerto Rico to offer detailed coverage and did a podcast over the edge it recaptured.
Banner #3 – Class of 2026 Recruitment updates
Recruitment is on the way to an exciting start under Devries while he is completely in for the 2026 class. With Prince-Alexander Moody in the fold, the Hoosiers go all the way to strengthen it with various campus visits that come this fall for highly ranked prospects.
Mark videos for some of these potential goals are available. This includes Davion Adkins, Junior County and Jordan Smith.
Banner #4 – IU – Football arranged in the previous season AP Top 25
While 6-banner is basketball-oriented, the success of IU football in 2024 led to unprecedented excitement between fans and increased media attention for the program. As a result, in the HAL, coach Cignetti offered Video of the Media availability of coach Cignetti after practice. Also, winning does not seem to be temporary, because the team will start this year in the AP-top 20, and be different players reception prescription recognition.

Banner #6 – Hoosier Roundup
• Women’s football opened the regular athletic season 2025-2026 with a simple 6-1 victory over Youngstown State under new coach Josh Rife.
• Men’s football won two exhibition matches about West -Michigan and Louisville.
The program too announced A promotional schedule for upcoming competitions.
• Baseball announced Walk-on Tryouts and saw Strong versions in the summer ball.
• Volleyball participated in one scrimmage.
The program too announced Start times for home games.
• Men’s Golf issued The schedule for the coming year.
