Summarize Pan American Youth Championships

The ITTF Pan American Youth Championships 2025 ended on Sunday in Rosario, Argentina. There were striking versions of Americans in U15 categories with titles in both singles and team events, Team Canada was the surprise winner in U19 Girls teams, US won U19 girls and Brazil logged a number of titles in multiple events.

The U19 Singles event of the boys was dominated by Brazil with all four semi -finalists from that country. The title went to Leonardo Iizuka. A week ago in another Pan AM Juniors event, Nandan Naresh of the US Iizuka fell into the final, but this week Narest fell in the quarters for Felipe Doti (who fell in the semi -final from Iizuka). Sally Moyland of the US took the title of the U19 girls. The Brazilian team of Iizuka and Doti was on Naresh and Tran of the US to win boys’ dubbles, team Puerto Rico’s Leon and Melendez won girls U19 -Doubles with a victory over Moyland and Chen of the US, and Nandan Nandan Naresh and Nandan Naresh.

Kef Noorani of the US achieved the highest honor in U15 Boys’ singles with a 3-0 win over Kyler Chen in the US. U15 singles for girls was also an all-usa affair with Abigail Yu who defeated Irene Yeoh. U15 Boys Doubles went to Kef Noorani from the US and Kyler Chen, U15 Girls’ Doubles went to Satyla Asyla Aspathi and Tiana Piyadasa of the US and U15 mixed Doubles went to the American Abigail Yu and Kyler Chen.

U19 Boys teams went to Brazil with Puerto Rico in Second and USA and Dominican Republic split each other. The gold medal winners from Brazil were Hamilton Yamane, Lucas Romanski, Felipe Doti and Leonardo Iizuka. U19 Girls teams were won by Canada with Puerto Rico in second place, and the US and Brazil in third place. The U19 Girls team of Team Canada consisted of Natalie Chan, Emily Liu, Jessie Xu and Nelina Murdanaigum. American teams both won U15 team events. US won U15 Boys teams with Brazil in second place, and Chile and Peru in third place. The U15 Boys team of the US consisted of Maxim Mouchinski, Jayden Cai, Kyler Chen and Kef Noorani. The U15 Girls Team title went in second place to Teamusa with Canada, and Brazil and Chile share third. The U15 Girls team of the US consisted of Irene Yeoh, Satya Aspathi, Tiana Piyadasa and Abigail Yu.

Teamusa, Team Puerto Rico, Team Brazil and Team Canada all had strong impressions in Rosario.
