Studio Blackburn Reimagines Frameworks’ brand identity with cool type, architectural color and a versatile system in London workplaces.

FrameworkLondon -based worksput brand founded by Max Jesierski and Sam Roberts in 2017, has a new look with thanks Studio Blackburn. Built on what they call an “obsessive approach” for design and service, frameworks has grown from one site to a city -wide portfolio, with spaces that extend from Mayfair to Shoreditch. The Rebrand positions them as one of the most ambitious workspace providers in London where architecture and identity meet.

Go further than tropping workspace

Instead of leaning on the usual soft shades of gray and minimalist Zonder-Serifs that dominate the design of the workspace, Studio Blackburn wanted to give frameworks a little sharper, more characteristic and more flexible about locations.

The most important elements of the refresh are:

Typography: An update of RL -refusal by regular lines, now with the Frameworks emblem and an adapted “W.” In combination with FK Roman Standard, the system balances with an editorial feeling.

Know: A clear, consistent structure – Frameworks + location – that is related to the portfolio without flattening the individuality.

Colour: Each palette draws directly from the interiors and architectural details of the building, giving each workspace its own identity within the larger family.

Applications: From the new website to the proposal cover, welcome packages and social assets, the system extends seamlessly over every contact point.

A brand with character

The work of Studio Blackburn records which frameworks already stood: versatile, authentic and bold, but also approachable. There is a sense of use in typography, in balance with play in the color and movement. It feels rooted in architecture while leaving room for personality.

Samuel Roberts, co-founder of Frameworks, summarized it best:

“Working with Studio Blackburn was a pleasure. The process was inspiring, fun and surprisingly painless. The completed brand is a wonderful reflection of what we do at Frameworks.”

The new framework identity shows how thoughtful brand systems can increase daily experiences. By connecting typography, color and architecture, Studio Blackburn has created a flexible language that not only unites the portfolio of Frameworks, but also distinguishes it in a busy market.
