Before that he says that the driver complained about the payment of Uber and how they take half of the cut. Kodi says he politely asked the driver about his schedule.
“I work on Monday-Saturday with Sunday free for a rest day,” replied the Uber driver, according to Kodi.
“It’s great, take a day of rest,” says Kodi that he answered
He claims that the driver replied that the day could also be for intimate relationships.
This caught Kodi overwhelmed. He says that the Uber driver then told him that people will take his personal number to arrange services directly.
“Do you want my telephone number,” the driver said.
“For rides?” Kodi responded.
“For journeys or something else,” he claims that the Uber driver answered.
Kodi says he has experienced the man’s number. He says the driver said, “please” call.
“I’ll. I’ll send you a text message,” Kodi replied.
“It doesn’t matter, as long as I have your number and I can text you. You are so beautiful,” he claims the driver said.
The man reportedly reminded Kodi that he was finished on Sunday and also said that he could take a break from his work if Kodi wanted to hang out during the week. When they approached the airport, Kodi says that the driver told him he was excited and said, “I talk to you and it wakes up.”
The driver also pointed to his crouch area, says Kodi.
When they finally arrived at the airport, the driver pointed to his pants as he helped Kodi with bags. “See what you put on me,” Kodi claims that the man said.
Kodi says he has taken and fled his luggage. Ten minutes later he says he received a report from Uber that the driver was trying to contact him about a lost item. However, he did not remember that he had left something in the car, so he ignored it.
Now Kodi feels traumatized, he says.
“I always thought that I would be the type of person in this scenario to close it immediately, but I wasn’t.
Others claimed to have taken a ride with the same driver.
“Stop, I had him and he was strange to me too,” they wrote.
“Omg I had him as a driver a few weeks ago and he didn’t go so far that I wanted me to have his number, but he complained about the wage,” another answered.
Uber’s Tiktok said on the message: “Support team here – this is extremely worrying to hear. Uber takes the safety of the driver very seriously and we would like to look at this. DM Uber Account information and travel data so that we can investigate further.”
