Boise, Idaho-de Idaho Steelheads, Echl branch of the Dallas Stars, announced that the club defender Sam Jardine signed for a contract for the 2025-26 season.

Jardine, 31, brings a wealth of experience with the Steelheads that parts of six seasons played in the Echl that was emphasized by conquering the Kelly Cup in 2017 with the Colorado Eagles and in 2019 with the Newfoundland Growlers. He was appointed as the all-ul-echl first team during the 2020-21 campaign, which finished fourth under all the competitions of the competition that produced 44 points (3G-41A) in 67 games for the Greenville Swamp rabbits. He appeared in 234 Echl games in 234 career with 94 points (13G-81A) during skating in 44 play-off games with 15 points (3G-12a) that played for Indy, Colorado, Orlando, Newfoundland and Greenville.

The resident of Lacombe, Alberta, has also played parts of five seasons in the American Hockey League, the most recently appeared with the Calgary Wranglers that appear in 14 games that three assists count during the 2023-24 season. He skated in 85 career competitions with 16 points (4G-12a) that adapt to Calgary, Toronto, San Antonio and Rockford.

Prior to professional hockey, Jardine played three seasons at the Ohio State University of 2012-15 of 32 points (3G-29a) in 97 career competitions where he served as an alternative captain during the 2014-15 campaign. He was selected in the sixth round (179th General) of the NHL Entry Draft 2011 by the Chicago Blackhawks.
