Edmonton Oilers Radio Voice and Oilers Host now Bob Stauffer has released His forecasts from 2025-26 for the top players of the team, and the figures suggest a powerful attack by a team that compete for a new shot on the Stanley Cup. He did not record everyone, but Stauffer made predictions for most oils, and the figures are intriguing.

First, not surprising, is Captain Connor McDavid, who, after comments he intended to be more assertive with his Scottish selection, projects the Superster to register 53 goals, 71 assists and 124 points. He leads the team in goals, who and his best buddy start to take a bit of a backseat, hints the Oilers -Gastheer.
Leon Draisaitl is not far behind, even if Stauffer suggests that he will score fewer goals than McDavid and eight less than last season. Stauffer predicted Draisaitl to post 44 goals, 63 assists and 107 points, still incredible figures.
On the back the spotlights fall on Evan Bouchard. After a breakout year, Stauffer expects him to hit 19 goals and 72 points. It is a large year for a player who has just received a large four -year -old deal worth $ 10.5 million per season. Bouchard will have to perform as more than just an attacking defender and Power-Play Quarterback to earn that contract. Veterans Darnell Nurse (31 points) and Mattias Ekholm (30 points) are expected to contribute steadily, while newcomer Jake Walman was the second leading point producer with 37 points.
Among the other attackers, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Andrew Mangiapane and Zach Hyman are expected to score more than 20 goals this season. Stauffer has 23 goals and 63 points for NUGE, while Hyman is closed for 26 goals and 53 points. The figures from Hyman are interesting, because they suggest a step back after a season in which he scored half the number of goals as the season before, when he 54 in 2023-24 pot.
The real intrigues is in the supporting cast, and young people Matt Savoie (41 points) and Ike Howard (40 points). Both are coupled to make meaningful effects in deep -rolling, but maybe not as much as some fans hope. They will both score more than Vasily Podkolzin (38 points) and Trent Frederic (35 points) means that Stauffer predicts that the Rookies will be important.
What do Stauffer’s predictions tell us about the Oilers season?
If Stauffer’s predictions turn out to be accurate, Edmonton will be a line -up with elite star power at the top ice cream and a much deeper supporting cast than in the past seasons. Combined with the stanley Cup Final Nederies Angel from Back-to-Back Stanley Cup, the Oilers 2025–26 will enter without a shortage of motivation and suggests that they will again be one of the highest scoring teams of the NHL.
That Brett Kulak, Adam Henrique, Mattias Janmark, Kasperi Kapanen, David Tomasek and Curtis Lazar are omitted that nobody will have a big season, or may not be with the Oilers when the 2025-26 season is coming to an end.
