Sacramento, California – The State Fair Junior Championship for boys and girls aged 7-18 was held on Saturday 23 August in Haggin Oaks Golf Complex. Players aged 12-18 took part in the Alister Mackenzie 18-hole course, while the 7-11 division played nine holes at Arcade Creek.

In the division of the boys 14–18, Eduardo Tapper Van Menlo Park recorded the overall title with a sizzling round of 35/29 for a total of 64. Tapper is a senior at Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton.
In the Girls 14–18 Division, Gabriella Brego secure the championship after a draw with Alison Chan bee 75. Brego achieved the victory with a par on the second play -off hole.
Other highlights of the division were:
• Boys 16–18: Winner – Noah Iron (67). A card-off determined second and third in between Jacob Burnett And Kenneth that (69).
• Girls 16–18: Winner – Amelia Karnbanjong (79). Runner-up Kayla Nguyen (81).
• Boys 14-15: Winner – Cru Sullivan (68).
• Girls 14-15: Winner – Allison Chan (75).
• Boys 12–13: Winner – Daniel Tang (76).
• Girls 12–13: Winner – Olivia Lee (75).
• Boys 10–11: Winner – Luke Souther (36).
• Girls 10–11: Winner – Rella Wang (34).
• Boys 7–9: Winner – Stanford Gilmore (35).
• Girls 7–9: Winner – Livy Woodward (36).
The Sacramento Golf Council organized the tournament President and Tournament Chairman, under the leadership of the Council Mark Perry.
