The stars continued to build their lead while Bourque scored on the Power Play with just over six minutes in the game to bring the score to 4-2. He was assisted by Johnston and Christian Kyrou. The stars added another goal on an empty net to bring the score to 5-2. The goal was scored by Vladislav Kolyachonok and he was assisted by Jack Becker. The deal sealed that goal and the stars gave the victory.
The Wild stays at home for their next pre -season match, which will take place on Sunday evening 28 September, against the Chicago Blackhawks. The stars stay on the road while on Saturday, September 27, they are facing the Colorado Avalanche.
