Michael Bobbitt, PGA Associate, is the assistant golf professional at Bing Maloney Golf Complex.
Michael Bobbitt has been working at Morton Golf since March 2024.
He started for the first time as a starter / cashier at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex and moved to Bing Maloney Golf Complex in a short period when a position was opened there.
Before he came to Morton Golf, Michael worked for 16 years as a police officer in Fremont, Ca.
His interest in Golf started 3 years ago when he withdrew from the police and started golfing with friends. His new love for Golf today brought him into his latest career.
When I asked Michael what some highlights were in his life, he smiled and quickly called three.
1. The birth of his two sons that are now 12 and 10 years old.
2. The wonderful life he has with his 3 -year -old wife.

When Michael does not work on Bing Maloney Golf Course or Golf, his hobbies are bass fishing, camping and his two sons coaching.
Michael is completing the PGM training (Professional Golf Management).
