Eli Ruiz worked at Morton Golf for the past two years as a starter/cashier in the Haggin Oaks Golf Pro Shop. He was recently promoted to tournament coordinator/tournament ambassador manager.
In 2024, Eli graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. He comes to the Tournament Office with strong people and organizational skills as he continues his career.
When Eli isn’t working at Haggin Oaks, he can be found on the golf course. He grew up in Santa Cruz with a golfing family who enjoyed the game as a leisure activity.
He also has a strong interest in music and is self-taught in 2 instruments. In his spare time he enjoys playing guitar and piano.
Eli is very athletic and loves all sports. After graduating from high school, he returned to Aptos High where he graduated and was their track coach for 2 years.
Morton Golf is fortunate to plan its future in Sacramento and be part of the Morton Golf Family. If you see Eli at Haggin Oaks, wish him the best in his new promotion.
