Daniel Farke revealed this during Thursday’s press conference Anton Stach (adductor) could make a quick return from injury in Gameweek 23.
But Jaka Bijol (hamstring) has been added to Leeds United’s injury list, even though it doesn’t sound like it Daniel James (hamstring) will be available despite his partial return to training.
Gabriel Gudmundsson (adductor) is also a new concern.
“I was talking about a time frame of three to five weeks. It seems like this could be a more positive time frame for us. So a week has already gone by and things are getting better. He’s already doing some things in the gym. So it means I hope I can have him back in team training in two to three weeks.” – Daniel Farke about Jaka Bijol
“The group that was available for the last match is also more or less available. Gabby Gudmundsson is struggling with some adductor problems after the last match, so we had to leave him out of training today. He is of course an important player for us. I hope he will be available for the match on Monday evening, but there is a small question mark about his availability.”
“Aside from that, everyone came through the [Fulham] game without any problems, so it’s more or less good news.
“Also good news from our rehabilitation department. Anton was partially integrated into the team training today. No response so far, it looks like he could be available.”
“Also good news from Daniel James. Yesterday and today, for the first time in a long time, partially integrated into team training. He is also beautiful, almost close to participating in full team training again. Of course he was out for more than two months, it will take some time before he is fit and ready for the games.” – Daniel Farke
Loan Facundo Good night is on board, but it sounds like he still has plenty of fitness work to do before he’s eligible to start.
“He’s a very exciting young player with a lot of potential, but part of the truth is that he hasn’t played much football lately. That’s why we are convinced of his skills, of his potential, and we will give him the stage. We will give him the platform. We are there with open arms for him. He has all the support, all the help, all the support to really work to get himself back to the top level.” – Daniel Farke on Facundo Buonanotte
Meanwhile, £3.9m goalkeeper Karl Darlow looks ready to keep his place between the posts.
“Karl Darlow returned to the dressing room with a clean sheet. And if you return with a clean sheet, you are always there with a top performance as a goalkeeper. Even if you don’t really have to make one save, you have organized everything well, you have organized your defense. Or you were just lucky that the defense was so good! Either way, you can’t ask for more than to return for a goalkeeper with a clean slate.” – Daniel Farke on whether Lucas Perri could return
