Thomas Frank slammed ‘unacceptable’ booing from Tottenham fans during their side’s defeat to Fulham.
Spurs were defeated again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Fulham winning 2-1 on Saturday.
Frank’s side trailed 2-0 after just five minutes and 43 seconds, the earliest they had ever fallen two goals behind in a Premier League home game.
Kenny Tete’s strike and a long-range try from Harry Wilson, which followed Guglielmo Vicario’s blunder, drew widespread boos from the home faithful.
Supporters’ discontent continued after the final whistle, with Spurs suffering their third defeat in seven days.
It was also their 10th home defeat in 2025, their highest loss in a single calendar year (also 10 in 1994 and 2003).
“If you are 2-0 down after six minutes, you have a mountain to climb,” said Frank. “When you’re in a bad period, everything seems to be going against you – the first was a deflected shot, the second was a mistake by Vicario.
“I didn’t like that our fans booed him immediately afterwards, and a few times after that. They can’t be real Tottenham fans because everyone supports each other when you’re on the pitch and we do everything we can to perform.”
“I’m fine with them booing after the game, no problem, but not during the game. That’s unacceptable in my opinion.”

“Then we rushed the first half in a lot of ways. We wanted to get back into the game, but we couldn’t do that in the first half, but we got a lot better in the second half.”
“We got some momentum, created more chances and chances, but couldn’t get the second goal.
“It was an emotional performance in the second half, and I think that’s very normal. We know we really want to win at home, so if things don’t go the way you want, it’s difficult. That’s why you have to stick to the plan, stay cool and don’t stress. That’s easier said than done.”
Fulham, meanwhile, secured their first Premier League away win over Tottenham since March 2013, putting even more distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
Marco Silva’s side had to hold on for the final half hour after Mohammed Kudus pulled a goal back, but the Cottagers boss was full of praise for his players’ efforts.
“I’m very proud of the boys,” he told Premier League Productions. “It was very important for us to win.
“What a great first half from us! We were clinical but we should have scored more. We didn’t give them anything in the first 35 minutes.”
“In the second half we suffered more than necessary. We didn’t start well and they increased their confidence. But the solidarity was there and we deserved the three points.”
