The winger faces an uncertain future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the club look to improve their lackluster attack.
The Lilywhites have jointly scored the sixth most goals (25) in the Premier League this season, but only three teams have scored fewer expected non-penalty goals (15.1 npxG) in the first sixteen matches.
Johnson was Spurs’ top scorer last season with 18 goals in all competitions, including the winner against Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League final.
The Wales international has found the net four times this season but has been used sparingly by new head coach Thomas Frank. After starting in each of the first three top-flight games, he has made just three starts since.

According to the BBCSpurs are “not actively looking to sell Johnson” but are “open” to a deal if an “appropriate offer” is received.
