West Ham United -midfielder Thomas Soucek has expressed his determination to lead the Czech Republic to the World Cup 2026.
Remember that Czech De Faröer and Gibraltar defeated the top of group L, but the coming week should be confronted with Montenegro and Croatia as he and the nation, look at the World Cup 2026.
Speaking with the club website, Soucek revealed what qualification would mean for him, especially in comparison with nations such as England that blinds through the qualifying rounds and are easily in the competition.
“This is our dream because we have two important games this week,” he told Whufc.com. “In our group, Croatia is clearly favorite, but we believe that we can compare them with them.

“It is our enormous dream because we were not in the World Cup for 20 years, and I believe we have the ability and especially I and Vlad are a large part of the Czech team and I believe we will do a great bond during the internationals, as we did together through our West Ham career.
“It would be huge, especially since we are not England who go there every four years. We are the Czech Republic who is not there for 20 years, so as a captain this is my priority and my biggest dream I want to achieve.
“It is clear that I have so many dreams for next season with the club, but for internationals I went to the euro twice, which was fun, but we always go to the euros, so as a captain I want to bring my country to the World Cup.”
