This update includes a handful of under-the-hood improvements, along with some key changes that improve usability, clarity, and compatibility for site administrators.
Notable changes in this release.
1. Clearer 2FA confirmation flow
We’ve updated the 2FA installation confirmation email so that it now links directly to a confirmation screen and not to the installation prompt. This change eliminates a common point of confusion for users who have already completed the process.
2. Passwordless Settings Block now uses API version 3 (Pro only)
In preparation for WordPress 7.0, we upgraded the Passwordless Settings block to use the latest supported API. This will render it correctly in an iFrame and maintain compatibility in the future.
3. Vulnerable software card bug fixed
We fixed a bug that previously caused an unexpected error when displaying unfixed vulnerabilities in plugins or themes. You can now view scan results and vulnerability details without interruption.
4. Plugin Changelog is now displayed correctly
Clicking “View Details” in your plugin list will now display the changelog for Solid Security updates correctly. No more empty sections, but clear insight into what has changed.
