Social media burst after black soldiers have been made to honor Charlie Kirk in new video

Critics social media had much to say after the American defense minister had made a video with black soldiers in honor of Charlie Kirk.

Sec. Pete Hegseeth posted a new video in honor of the killed conservative activist, who was deadly shot during a striking engagement at Utah Valley University 10 September. In the clip, Hegseeth led a prayer for the deceased Kirk with many black soldiers.

Hegseeth praised Kirk and his controversial legacy and called him “an incredible American” in the viral clip. In particular, Kirk has no state record in the army, which leads to public confusion about the appearance of the soldiers.

“If you knew him, you love him. His name is Charlie Kirk. Taken by the bullet of a murderer,” said Hegseeth. “Inaccessible. The only certainty I can assume is that I know that he is now with his Lord and Savior.”

Many social media users, however, have pronounced their disapproval of the video and noticed the optics to include the majority of black soldiers. Before his death, Kirk built a platform for promoting Christian nationalist and white supremacist talk points. He fiercely opposed the Black Lives Matter movement, while he also ridiculed the death of George Floyd and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Given that his opinions were considered downright racist, some thought that the video forced the black soldiers to honor the alt-right influencer. Naysayers believe that the video was also an act of politicizing the army, with the help of black members of the army to honor the man. Others also thought it was the birthday of the attacks of 11 September overshadowing.

“The fact that you have a very diverse army and you recommend and demand that they acknowledge their oppressor is devilish,” a commentator shared.

“This is disgusting. Absolutely sicknessing. Kirk was a burger who spread hateful rhetoric to the masses. These men and women in uniform deserve better. So much better,” wrote another.

Commentators remained sec. Hegseeth because in essence he makes service members bow their heads in prayer for the controversial speaker. The Trump government has taken several steps to honor Kirk’s death as if he were a political hero. The president also found that it was flags at half the half staff, while Kirk’s body was transported on the air force two.

Apparently apparently black service members apparently made an agreement with many, since military staff should not express a party alignment while they are uniform.

“Disgusting politicization this in uniform,” shared another commentator. “So we cannot show loyalty to political parties in uniform, but our service members can be forced to hear politicized speeches while they are in uniform.

The movement further emphasizes how Trump officials promotes Kirk as a patriotic martyr, who is repressed about his inheritance of anti-black, homophobic and biased views.
