Batting first at the MCA Stadium, Jharkhand collected a whopping 262 for 3 in 20 overs. It was the highest total ever scored in a T20 tournament final and gave Haryana an almost impossible chase.

Ishan Kishan led the charge with a stunning 101 off just 49 balls. The southpaw was in complete control, combining power with clean timing and finishing the tournament as the leading run scorer and top six hitter.

Kishan found perfect support in Kumar Kushagra, who smashed 81 off 38 balls. The pair added 177 runs for the second wicket, completely flattening the Haryana attack and taking the game away before the final overs.

Jharkhand’s innings was full of big hits. They cleared the ropes 20 times, with Anukul Roy and Robin Minz adding late fireworks. Roy remained unbeaten with 40 off 20 balls, while Minz scored with a quick 31 off 14.

Haryana was under pressure even before the start of the match with Yuzvendra Chahal ruled out due to chikungunya and dengue. His absence hurt their spin plans on a good hitting surface.

The chase started disastrously for Haryana. They crashed to 3 for 2 in the first over, finding themselves up against Jharkhand’s pace attack early on.

Yashvardhan Dalal tried to raise hopes with a quick 53 off 22 balls, and Nishant Sindhu added a lively 31 off 15. For a brief period, Haryana looked capable of turning it into a contest.

However, once Dalal and Sindhu were dismissed, the innings quickly fell apart. Jharkhand’s bowlers continued to bat and Haryana were bowled out for 193 in 18.3 overs.

Sushant Mishra was the bowlers’ favorite with figures of 3 for 27. Anukul Roy backed up his batting with 2 for 42, while Bal Krishna also claimed three wickets to seal the title in style.

The victory capped a flawless campaign for Jharkhand, who remained unbeaten in the league and knockouts. With Ishan Kishan, Kumar Kushagra and Anukul Roy leading the way, this title marked a new high for the state in Indian domestic T20 cricket.
