Smallcap Multibagger from Dolly Khanna Portfolio Sets 17 September as a record date for the final dividend

Mining and Power Company Prakash Industries has set as a record day on Wednesday 17 September to determine the eligible investors for its RS 1.50 per dividend share for the 2024-25 financial year. The Multibagger shares that are part of the portfolios of ACE investors Dolly Khanna and Mukul Agrawal has achieved 255% return in the last five years.

The core competence of the entire decade old company lies in areas of mining, steel and electricity.

Prakash Industries is a SmallCap share with a market capitalization of RS 2,863.52 Crore on the BSE. The share has lagged behind for a period of 1 year and has seen its price tank with 24%. The shares are currently under the 50-day and 200 days of simple advancing averages (SMAS) of RS 167 and RS 163.5 respectively.

The price erosion has arrived on the back of the high volatility with his 1-year-old beta, which, according to Trendlyne, floats around RS 1.4.

Momentum indicators RSI and MFI are located in the average range of 44 and 57 respectively. A number above 70 is considered overbough, while lower than 30 is seen as solder

Khanna held 2.27% equity that represented more than 40.56 of Lakh shares in the company, on 30 June 2025, while Agrawal’s equity was 1.72%, which represented the shares of 30.83 Lakh shares of 30.83 Lakh. The quarter ended that fell by 11% compared to RS 1,173.1 Crore in the period of the year ago. The net profit in the aforementioned quarter was RS 91.4 Crore, an increase of 1% versus RS 90.5 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.

The business profit was reported at RS 138 Crore in Q1FY25 versus RS 132 Crore in the period of the year ago.
