Former Liverpool star Didi Hamann has opened up and had his say on the club’s transfer activities, telling them to make a move for Harry Maguire, who could leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

“Joe Gomez has been with the team for a long time, but he has never really been a starter for the team. Connor Bradley is now out due to injury. We will have to see how this affects him when he comes back.”
“I think LIVERPOOL Depth is also needed at the right back position. Frimpong is not a right back. I think he can get away with that sometimes, but he’s not a right back. I think they need a few players at the back.”
COULD LIVERPOOL REALLY SIGN MAGUIRE?
Maguire is a top defender, he is a leader and has a few years left at the top of the game, but to suggest he would improve Liverpool’s backline is something Reds fans will be shocked at: we can never see this move happening.
If Liverpool decide to expand that backline in the coming transfer window, or in January, it will be for a younger and fresher player who can eventually take over from the aging Virgil Val Dijk.

“I don’t think he’s a Stevie Gerrard because Stevie was more attacking. Roy did a bit of everything; press high, get the ball from the back four, everything. Declan has the set pieces too. I don’t actually think we give him enough credit yet.”

WHAT WILL ARNE SLOT IMPROVE IN THE TRANSFER WINDOWS?
That defense has become a real problem for the Dutch boss, his players are not performing at the level he would like and adding one or two more defenders to that backline really needs to be done.
No big players are likely to arrive in January, but if Slot can find someone to help Virgil Van Dijk, perhaps someone like Micky Van De Ven, he can solve his defensive problems.
That midfield is quite well filled and Slot doesn’t really need to add anything to it, right?

LIVERPOOL have been linked with Rafael Leao in recent seasons, they have even made some moves, but they have not been able to convince Milan to let one of the club’s star players leave, they have not been able to get a deal done.
