SlapFIGHT: INFLUX Crowns Following SlapFIGHT Stars

SlapFIGHT Championship’s “INFLUX” event was designed to complement the heavyweight and super heavyweight divisions, and it delivered a night of brutal knockouts, grueling five-round wars and unexpected new stars. Fourteen aspiring slappers competed for contracts in two separate tournaments, aiming to become the next top contenders in their respective weight classes. With champions Frank the Tank (heavyweight) and Grizzly (super heavyweight) having cleared out their divisions, the way was clear for new talent to make their mark.

The heavyweight tournament was a display of strength and endurance from the opening bout. The action started with “Silverback” scoring a devastating knockout victory over “Hammer”. The momentum continued with a hard-fought five-round battle between the smaller “Slapmare” and the formidable “Young and Lavish,” ultimately earning a close judges’ decision. The quarterfinals also saw ‘Break It Blake’ advance after his opponent, ‘The General’, was plagued by repeated fouls, including stepping and flinching fouls that cost him the match. In the final quarterfinal, “Controversy” Cody Cox made a statement with a decisive win over “Rooster”.

The semi-finals took an unexpected turn when Break It Blake was forced to withdraw due to a broken wrist suffered in his previous fight, giving Controversy a direct path to the finals. In the other semi-final, Silverback went to battle against Young and Lavish, emerging victorious after five grueling rounds to book his spot in the main event.

Super Heavyweight Brawl: Giants Clash
The super heavyweight division featured some of the greatest athletes in punch fighting history, leading to chaotic and punishing encounters. In a wild opening match, the 6-foot-4, 390-pound “Sasquatch” was disqualified for repeated illegal strikes against Team Biscuit’s “TKO.” Despite being knocked down, TKO showed incredible resilience to get back on his feet and move on thanks to Sasquatch’s mistakes. On the other end of the bracket, “The Punisher” overcame an early knockdown to score a knockout victory against “The Big Beast,” while “Trunk” received a bye to the semifinals.

However, the tournament was shaken up again when The Punisher was forced to withdraw due to an injury sustained during his victory. This withdrawal sent TKO and Trunk straight to the super heavyweight finals for a coveted contract.

Crowning the new contenders
The evening culminated in two explosive finals in which the tournament winners were crowned. In the super heavyweight main event, TKO faced the fresh and powerful Trunk. Despite taking massive punishment throughout the five rounds, TKO’s cleaner technique and Trunk’s expensive step penalties earned TKO a stunning win by judges’ decision, securing the super heavyweight contract.

In addition to the tournament winners, SlapFIGHT also awarded contracts to Silverback, Trunk and Sasquatch, bringing a huge influx of new talent to the divisions.
