The British police accused the American singer Chris Brown of serious physical injury with intention of an alleged attack in a nightclub in London in 2023.
Mr. Brown remains in custody and appears on Friday, May 16, local time at the court of Manchester Magistrates.
Adele Kelly, the deputy Chief Crown Officer for CPS London North said that the prosecution service authorized the police to accuse the singer.
“The alleged incident took place in London on February 19, 2023,” she said.
She added: “Criminal proceedings against the suspect are active” and “he is entitled to a fair trial”.
The 36-year-old was arrested on Thursday in a hotel in Manchester in connection with an alleged bottle attack on music producer Abe Diaw in the nightclub of the tape.
British newspaper The Sun said that it became aware of the presence of Mr. Brown in the United Kingdom on Wednesday, at what point it warned with Police.

The producer has filed a lawsuit of several millions of dollars against the singer.
