Silver Prince finished second in his career debut D’code in a hotly contested girl special weight on Oaklawn Park December 14, earn an Equibase Speed Figure of 91. The 2-year-old son of Prince of Cairo was put up for sale by his trainer, Ron Moquett, on behalf of his owners Randy Finegan and James Walderns.
“Fasig-Tipton have done an excellent job in securing a positive outcome for us, acting quickly when necessary to secure a deal for this colt before the new year,” said Moquett.
“The digital format could be the way deals are closed in the future,” Moquett continued. “All information is available, the market is established in real time and the foal is sold in an efficient and professional manner.”
“We are very pleased to end 2025 with another successful sales result,” said Leif Aaron, director of digital sales at Fasig-Tipton. “We look forward to seeing the Silver Prince race in 2026 and hope his connections will have great success.”
Fasig-Tipton Digital’s next scheduled auction is the January Digital Sale, scheduled for January 15-20. Registration closes on January 5.
