Sapura Industrial Berhad -daughter Sib Mili has a memorandum of agreement (MOU) inked with Sarawak Skills Development Center to promote the EV and Hybrid service training of the state.
SIB Mili said in a release that under the MOU the EV services, repair and maintenance expertise will supplement the experience of Sarawak Skills in technical training, and that both parties will develop accredited programs, improve train-the-trainer initiatives and build a pipeline of certified technicians. De Mou also wants to set up a dedicated EV and Hybrid service center in Kuching, that will serve as an EV service hub and a technical training and personnel development platform.
“Because of this partnership, we are proud of our capacities in EV and hybrid technologies. This initiative will ensure that Sarawak is well positioned to embrace the future of mobility by offering high-quality training and practical exposure to the next generation of automotive technicians,” said Sarawak Skills Executive Hallman.
