I write this while Blake Training the game blows. I don’t look at the Dodgers that much because it’s black. It is clear that I don’t view them as much as the coaching staff of the Dodgers looking at them, I would imagine. So you would think they would know what would happen. They had to expect that pewter would suck, not? No wonder Ohtani said he would be open to working relief in the play -offs. Ohtani is now a pitcher, batter and manager. The first three-way player! Okay, this is not Tumblr, so I don’t know why I blog live. [centers self, takes a deep breath, ohms] So we have a week left and Emmet Sheehan (7 IP, 0 er, 1 hit, zero walks, 10 ks, era at 2.86) continues to break out. Is Sheehan set up as a top 20 starter? No, but can he be a top 20 starter? See Hansel that I pick up what I put down. It has a 10.7 k/9, 2.7 BB/9 and 3.44 XFIP. I’m not sure how many innings he can throw next year; He is at his professional height of 72 1/3 IP, so I chattered. Nolan Ryan once threw 72 1/3 IP in an extra-after Doublehead. Sheehan is 26 years old in November and never threw 100 IP! Well, anyway, his things is gap, the command is a bit insane, and of course trains gave up its lead! Does Dave Roberts wear those glasses with the painted eyes so that he can sleep? Anyway, this is what I saw more this weekend in Fantasy Baseball:
Will Smith – Dealing with a hairline fracture in his hand. It happened when he hit Chris Rock.
Trevor McDonald – 6 IP, 1 ER, 7 Baserunners, 3 KS, while making his first Major League start. McDonald leaves the minors and has to enjoy that sweet freedom, but I don’t know why he is battling with Astros’s Jesus Sanchez who says Jesus says it’s just good. I love the aggressiveness of McDonald’s, comes high and tight on Hitters and tell them that they should listen to kin music.
Slade Cecconi – 7 IP, 0 er, 3 baserunners, 8 ks, era at 4.15. Keep in mind what streamonator says, certainly, but I will say one thing this week. Streamonator does not know which teams are still hunting and which teams are not. If I had my Druthers and knew what Druthers were, I would like starters in teams to go for it. When they start to be hit, they are quickly pulled and play their best batters (or at least their best matchups, as far as managers are concerned).
Logan Allen – 8 ip, 0 er, 5 baserunners, 7 ks, era on 4.14, but 4.14 means nothing. Back to my Cecconi Druthers.
Pablo Lopez – Hit the IL with an forearm tribe. Oh, don’t worry, the MRI showed a fully intact UCL. Right! I’m sure! Everything is completely good and he is not yet coming to the third week of March next year and needs Tommy John operation. No! Really not!
Joe Ryan – 5 ip, 4 er, era at 3.47. As I said with Cecconi, it is the opposite for starters in teams that are not going anywhere. They can be pulled early even if they pitch well, because “what does it matter?” And if they go to a team that is hunting? Woof, watch out. You don’t want “who matters?” vs. “Must win.” Of course sometimes loses “winning” (see the tigers or the play -off career of Kershaw), but it is not an ideal matchup.
Bailey Ober – 5 IP, 6 er, ERA at 5.32. Enjoy him next year when he has an ERA of 1.50. Don’t forget to thank us all. The waiter sacrifice is not a Creed number, it is what we have kept possible next year.
Brooks Lee -2-out-4, 2 RBIs and his 16th Homer and 2nd Homer in a week. Be water can be a schmotato.
Francisco Lindor -1-Out-4 and his 28th Homer. Two more for his 2nd 30/30 season! Mean’SWHile, Soto was caught stealing and selected. I wonder if that is the best use of Soto’s talents on the base, but damn it, I wish I had him in a competition or five.
Horses – 5 IP, 0 er, 6 baserunners, 3 ks, era at 4.23 versus nolan mclean – 5 ip, 1 er, 6 baseunners, 6 ks, era at 1.27. This matchup was invoiced as: “McLean/Cavalli, which sounds like the worst weight watches you’ve ever eaten.”
Nasim Nunez -2-out-4, 2 RBIs and his 3rd Homer. How bad is the bad luck at the moment? Nasim’s Hitting Homers and Jacob Young’s Doing Hacky-Sack Acrobatics.
Bryan Woo -Day with breast infection. One of the best breast landscapes I saw was Sydney Sweeney. So it’s not ideal on Woo, but it’s not, shoulder, elbow, you get the idea. Maybe he can go into the play -offs. No, I’m sorry, not your H2H play -offs. I mean the MLB play -offs. Those stupid things.
George Kirby – 6 IP, 0 er, 5 hits, zero walks, 7 ks, era at 4.24. This is a comment for December Gray when he ranks, the rest of you can go further: two of the start ago, Kirby came up with a new arm slot and the last two trips have been fantastic. To see what he did in the play -offs, and, if all goes well, talk about it in the ranking and ignore it, if it is bad.
Cal Raleigh -1-out-4, 2 RBIs and his 58th Homer. I say about 55 homers, you get the inflatable. If that inflatable was a big ass, it could pick up singles. Nah’mean?
JP Crawford -1-out-4, 4 RBIs and his 12th Homer, 2nd Homer in a week. Simply Peachy is a bit of a schmotato.
Logan Gilbert – 6 IP, 1 er, 4 baserunners, 4 ks, era at 3.43. M’s pitching has been solid, but what is crazy about their year? They do it with hitting.
Framber Valdez – 4 2/3 IP, 5 er, ERA at 3.75. This year he became a number three starter.
Jason Alexander – 1 1/3 IP, 7 er, ERA at 4.83. Jason Alexander’s post-seinfeld career is great!
Isaac Paredes -1-Out-4 and his 20th Homer. Paredes was out of the year, then Yordan was out of the year and Paredes was no longer out of the year. Confused? Really, why?
Andrew Abbott – 4 2/3 IP, 0 er, era at 2.80. I am my hat to Abbott for the entire year to dispel the regressive seas. What is his secret, a Musk Cologne? Spray some of that shizz on Ranger Suarez.
Jameson Tallon – 7 IP, 1 er, 5 hits, zero walks, 4 ks, era at 3.78. Streamonator loves his last start of the season, and so do I, if I knew for sure that he would throw 5+. I think he will do that, but it’s hard to say with play-off-bound teams.
Giancarlo Stanton -0-Uit-0 on Sunday, and his 19th Homer on Saturday, and his 450th career-homer. He will end with, like 490-IS gay, and lasts 20 years to go into the hall to annoy me, right?
Cam Schlittler – 5 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 4 Baserunners, 6 KS, ERA at 3.27 versus Kyle Bradish – 6 IP, 1 ER, 4 Baserunners, 9 KS, ERA at 2.25. This matchup was invoiced if: “These guys will be two examples that are used by Gray about how much pitching is in concepts after 100th.”
I rice -4-out-5, 5 RBIs and his 24th Homer. I am not sure if I would go so far to say that it is more attractive that he has the first base next year than catcher, but it certainly doesn’t hurt.
Samuel Basallo -1-out-4 and his 4th Homer. Does Basallo not sound like a salad dressing? Hmm, maybe it’s me. “Basallo’s is what Newman’s own claims to be.” No? “Soup and salad is A’ight when you get basallos?!” No? Yes, not.
Brandon Lowe -1-out-3, 2 runs and his 30th Homer and 2nd Homer in four games, hit .258. If I had told you in March that Lowe would hit 30 homers and .260, you would have been so happy. After that I also told you that it was not one of those weird years in which Gleyber Torres touches 38 homers.
Joe Boyle – 4 1/3 IP, 1 er, era 4.40. Ah, nice, playing Coy so that nobody overrays you next year. I like how you think!
Connelly early – 4 ip, 2 er, era at 1.88. Apparently I just had to choose him. According to a properly listed!
Chris Bassitt -Hit the IL with “rest for the MLB play -offs.” I giggled again to think about the fact that the staff of the Mets probably said that Epper made them lie about injuries and suspended from the commissioner. Talk about hating a man.
Trey YESAVAGE – 4 IP, 4 er, ERA at 5.00. Streamonator loves his last start of the season, but I don’t know if he’s going to make it or more than 5 IP.
Wyatt Langford -1-from-2 and a slam (22) and legs (22). He will be impossible to rank next year. Where is he capable of? 35/50. What could he do? 20/20/ .240? What do you do with that?
Charlie Morton – designated for allocation by the Tigers. As they say in the meat department, Chuck is grounded.
Spencer steps – 5 ip, 0 er, 9 baserunners, 6 ks, era at 4.45. I could currently close the tigers. You would think that a team that was built around Wensceel Perez would be better.
Ha-Song Kim -1-out-3, 2 RBIs and his 5th Homer. Next year everything will go well for the Braves. There is no way in which they can have three straight stinkers. AcuƱa goes 40/40, Albies 40/15 and Kim returns with Eminem.
Bubba Chandler – 5 ip, 0 er, 1 hit, zero walks, 6 ks, era at 4.56. Will start financing me in October for the Pirates to sign a batter. Please give what you can do. Our goal is $ 450 million for Kyle Tucker.
Joey Bart -4-out-4, 2 runs, 3 RBIs and his 4th Homer and 2nd Homer in two games. Hot Schmotato Alert!
Ivan Herrera -1-out-2, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and his 17th Homer. Will undergo an elbow operation this season and return to catching in spring training. Tickets have more catchers than a Jamaican has a job.
Brandon Woodruff – Save the il with a bar -stem. Don’t worry about the play -offs, brewers can simply make Joey Ortiz an ace.
Luis Morales – 6 IP, 2 ER, 7 Baserunners, 4 KS, ERA at 3.07. At the point to make a stupid bet on the Sactown A’s to win the 2026 World Series. Participate in stupidity, but wait until I make my bet so that the chance is not ruin.
AARON NOLA – 5 1/3 IP, 4 ER, 9 Baserunners, 4 KS, ERA at 6.46. Maybe he is the anti-Kershaw and is he only good at the play-offs? To find out, I would send him to Korea and let him try to participate in the KBO play -offs and if those results are good, bring it back after a few years, for example.
Ranger Suarez – 4 ip, 6 er, era on 3.12. He let Luzardo sneeze on him, right?
Corbin Carroll -2-out-5, 2 runs, 4 RBIs and a slam (31) and legs (30). It is so funny that he has just stolen his 30th bag. Ohtani does not have 20, after stealing 50+. Josh Naylor and Soto are now fast middle infielers. Steals, more than anything, is really just a matter of whether the player wants them.
Random -2-out-4, 2 runs and his 7th Homer. Phils clearly struggled towards Tawa. It is where they go to get their ciggies and tastykake. Tawa’s is their hometown market!
Blaine Crimea -1-out-3, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and his 4th Homer. The only answer for Blaine Krim is the state of siege.
Mike Forel -1-out-4, 1 run on Sunday and hit his 22nd Homer and 400th career Homer on Saturday. He is a first ballot by Famer and he is in the inner circle of the “Can you imagine how good he would be if he would stay healthy all his career” with Grady Sizemore and Giancarlo.
Michael King – 5 IP, 0 er, 8 baserunners (4 BBS), 4 ks, ERA at 3.57. King is short for walking. Many people don’t know that.
Fernando Tate Jr. -2-from-5 and his 23rd Homer. In the stands, a Heckler shouted and was picked up by the microphone, “Fernando, I have a syringe for you”, exactly as Tatis made contact with his Homer. Quite sweet, his father was present.
