The angels announced that righthander Shaun Anderson has done a distance and chosen free desk. The halos appointed him earlier this week for assignment. He has the right to reject the outright assignment because he has an earlier career.
Anderson, 30, went on this way earlier. The angels drew him in the winter for a Minor League deal. He was selected in the schedule in May in May. He lasted about two weeks before he was bumped from the schedule. Because he no longer has any options, he was designated for assignment. He knew exemptions and voted free desk, but then again signed with the angels for a new Minor League deal. The same series of events took place the following month, with Anderson on the Roster for a few days in June.
The same script was followed this week, although at a faster pace. Anderson was added to the schedule on Monday. The halos led the Dodgers 7-0 after seven innings. They use Anderson to try to save their best bull pen, but it didn’t work. Runs home through Shohei Ohtani And Max Muncy Led to four points on the board, with Anderson only recording two from.
The next day he was designated for the third time this year for allocation. Just like in the previous two cases, he has cleared distance declarations and exercised his right to test the open market. It would be no surprise if he returned to the angels for a new deal, as he did before. He has thrown 163 1/3 Major League -Ininning with an average of 6.39 earned run. His Minor League work has generally been better, but he did not deliver large numbers this year. Pitching in the Slagman -friendly Pacific Coast League, he has an ERA of 6.44 in 81 innings in 2025.
