The share of private sector banks (PVBs) also declined marginally to 37.1 percent from 37.5 percent in the same period.
In contrast, the share of FBs, SFBs and PBs increased to 6.57 percent in FY25 (6.07 percent in FY24). 1.3 percent (1.19 percent) and 0.11 percent (0.08 percent), respectively.
Further, the share of PSBs in total advances of SCBs increased to 56.2 percent, while their share in total deposits fell to 58.8 percent.
“The share of deposits in total liabilities of PVBs has increased while the share of loans has decreased. The share of deposits in total liabilities of PSBs has decreased,” the report said.
The share of PSBs in total advances of SCBs increased to 56.2 percent (from 55.45 percent), while their share in total deposits fell to 58.8 percent (59.35 percent).
The share of PVBs in total advances of SCBs fell to 39.10 percent (from 40.02 percent), while their share in total deposits rose to 35.20 percent (34.77 percent).
