NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has claimed that he will ‘hit’ former NFL star Robert Griffin III about his recent comments about Angel Reese.
Griffin made the headlines earlier this month when he was selected as an NBA 2K26 cover star in the debate on Chicago Sky -star Reese.
In doing so, he also drawn attention to one user of social media who edited the cover to contain a monkey instead of Reese – while also doubling on a claim that the Sky Star ‘Wnba -Rivalal Caitlin Clark hates.
Reese quickly returned to Griffin with a subtle post on X aimed at the NFL-Star-Appearance Analyt,. Griffin then doubled again on his claims.
Now NBA legend O’Neal has joined the debate and he threatened to ‘hit’ Griffin. He makes further comments about the Wnba star.

The confusing saga started when Griffin tried to defend Reese online after being criticized because she was chosen for the cover of a new video game, NBA 2K26.
One racist message from a non -created X user Photoshopte to let Reese, who is African -American, appear as a monkey.
But in his misguided attempt to stand up for Reese, Griffin claimed that she knew her beef on the field with Clark, was not only in the heads of media and fans, that the inner circle of the Sky Star had confirmed this to him.
In an attempt to defend Reese against racism, Griffin dropped a Caitlin Clark ‘Hate’ Bombshell
The claims caused a furious answer from Reese, which indirectly refined to the retired QB
The former NFL star refused to let the issue rest and maintain that he told the truth
Reese did not buy it and accused Griffin of ‘lying on this app … for influence’.
“… everyone knows the first and last name of everyone in my circle,” said Reese, apparently satisfied that Griffin did not communicate with someone close to her.
Eventually she called Griffin’s post ‘Nastyyy Work’.
Griffin defended himself online after the comments of Reese and Clark on Wednesday morning.

“That will never be fine with me. I never attacked her or her family when I said and went back with a clear basketball certificate that Angel Reese Caitlin Clark hates. It’s sport. Everyone will not like each other. ‘
Griffin refused to let the problem rest in a later message.
