In an important announcement, the West India Cricket Board (WICB) unveiled its 15-person team for the upcoming T20i series against Pakistan.
The Caribbean side will be against Australia without four important players, while the selectors chose a mix of young people and experience faces to face Pakistan.
King, Hetmyer, Joseph and Lewis to Miss Series
Brandon King and Shimron Hetmyer are both excluded because of side strains they suffered during the last T20i against Australia.
Alzarri Joseph, on the other hand, is equipped by management to keep him fresh for a busy season ahead. In the meantime, Evin Lewis is also not available due to injury.
To fill these gaps, the Selectors Johnson Charles, Alick Athanaze, Kacy Carty and promising Pacer Shamar Joseph have brought in.

As expected, Shai Hope will lead the men in chestnut brown. The team counts on people like Carty, Charles, Rutherford and Chase to deliver with the bat.
At the All-Round Department, Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd are expected to play key roles, while Akeal Hosein, Gudakesh motion and Shamar Joseph will take the lead about the bowling attack.

West India and Pakistan will be confronted in six White-Ball competitions, including three T20i’s and three odis. The T20i series will be held at the Central Broward Regional Stadium Turf Ground in Florida, while the ODIs will take place at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad.
