Casemiro will leave Manchester United when his contract expires this summer despite an impressive return to form under interim boss Michael Carrick.
After a man-of-the-match performance in the Manchester Derby last month, Casemiro took center stage again as the Red Devils recorded three straight wins against Fulham under Carrick.
The Brazilian scored the opening goal at Old Trafford and set up Matheus Cunha for the second. Fulham staged a fightback to equalize late on, but Sesko’s injury-time strike secured another three points for Carrick’s in-form side.
Speaking full-time to Sky Sports, match winner Sesko praised Casemiro’s role in the squad.
“He is an incredible player, a legend. It is fun to play with him and it is also fun to listen to his advice. His work rate is incredible and he gives all his teams a boost. We are grateful to have him with us.”
