September 23, 2025 – Top 10 for the week of September 22

The last six iterations of the National High School Invitational have played a bit like a wedding in a soap opera. After the wedding, alliances and romances change radically and the storylines to match, and there are plenty of surprises everywhere.

This year’s NHSI resulted in a number of interesting and dramatic results involving members of our top 10. But as we have seen, some of the NHSI teams have planned each other outside the weekend of competitions, and various competitions were different matches of the invitational this weekend. This should be a wonderful week.

This week Rightorightisright.com Honorary No. 11 team of the week is the ladies’ field hockey team that represents the Amsterdam Hockey & Bandy Club. Amsterdam started his main class season for ladies with a 2-1 victory over Den Bosch at the weekend. The scoring of the opener for Amsterdam was a 16-year-old American that you might have heard of: Reese d’Ariano, the home schooled Wunderkind who is in the American National Teasole.

1. Emmaus (Pa.) 11-0
The Hornets have received great game from second -year Riley Povalaitis, which has 19 goals this season; The next prominent non-conference match of the team is this Saturday against Millersville Penn Manor (PA.)

2. Villanova Academy of Notre Dame de Namur (Pa.) 8-0
The Irish had a few big wins at the National High School Invitational, but I think that last week’s most important match was a 4-1 victory over Newtown Square Episcopal Academy (PA.). Irish face Villa Maria Today and Camden Catholic Tomorrow

3. Uxbridge (mass.) 6-0
The Spartans sent a huge message this weekend with an 8-1 victory over Somerset-Berkley Regional (Mass.), A team that won the 2 state final division last fall

4. Malver Villa Mary (Pa.) 7-0
The hurricanes go from the frying pan (the NHSI) in the fire with today’s match against Academy of Notre Dame; This should be a titanic -matchup

5. Louisville Sacred Heart (Ky.) 13-0
Perhaps this is the best Sha team since the mid-2000s? The Valkyries defeated two sitting state champions in Mullica Hill Clearview (NJ) and Tredyffrin Conestoga (PA.) On the NHSI

6. Glenbrook (ill.) North 9-0
The Spartans, with national teamers of age group, such as Ella Beach and Reese Anetsberger, will receive a tough challenge next weekend when they visit Worthington Thomas Worthington (OHIO)

7. Summit Oak Knoll (NJ) 6-1
The Royals achieved last weekend at Lititz Warwick (Pa.) And Houston Kinkaid (Tex.) On the NHSI, but will have a huge game against Paisaa Titleist Hill tomorrow

8. Cherry Hill Camden Catholic (NJ) 4-1
The Irish achieved an extended victory over Palmyra (PA.) At the NHSI, and will have to come tomorrow in a four -day period with the same effort against Academy of Notre Dame, Moorestown and Oak Knoll

9. Newtown Square Episcopal Academy (Pa.) 7-1
The church women dropped a 4-1 defeat at Villanova Academy of Notre Dame de Namur (Pa.), But impressed by two NHSI victories

10. Yorktown Tabb (from) 8-0
A victory today at rival Yorktown Grafton (Va.) Would stretch the winning series of the Tigers to 99 games

11. Amsterdam Hockey & Bandy Club 1-0
