Antoine Semenyo will play against Tottenham Hotspur in what could be his last game for Bournemouth before joining Man City in the January transfer window.

The winger is expected to move to City this week for €65million, although Cherries boss Andoni Iraola insists no deal has yet been agreed.

The Athletics report that there was “an agreement between all parties” for Semenyo to play against Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs before his departure, and that “steps are expected to be taken to finalize the impending transfer”.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow or the next two, three days, but before I came here I asked to tell me, otherwise I’ll look foolish when I talk about Antoine and then [he leaves]. And that is the situation at this time of the day,” Iraola said in his pre-match press conference.

He added: “I think this could be the last match. That’s my personal opinion, but nothing has been agreed and nothing has been signed.”

“It’s my personal opinion as I understand the market and the noise, but nothing has been agreed at the moment. He is our player at the moment and I hope it stays that way.”

The Spanish coach added that Semenyo is “almost impossible to replace”.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth have been dealt a major blow after the club announced that Justin Kluivert will undergo surgery on a knee injury he suffered during last Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Arsenal.
