Bloomington, Ill.-de Bloomington Bison announced that the team defender Nikita Sedov and Ayden Macdonald signed for contracts for the 2025-26 season.
Sedov, 24, registered 17 points (1G-16A) in 56 games for the KHL’s CSKA Moskva last season. The Nizhnevartovsk, the resident of Russia won a Hlinka Gretzky Cup Bronze Medal and a U18 World Junior Championships Silver Medal in the 2018-19 season.
Sedov has achieved a total of 42 points (7G-35A) in 214 KHL games in the career. He played Junior Hockey in the United States before returning home to the KHL. With the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League, Sedov served as an alternative captain and registered 34 points (5G-29a) in 126 games.
MacDonald split last season between Kalamazoo, Maine and Allen last season. Registration of 23 points (9g-14a) in 49 games. He also noted two assists in four games with Rapaces de Gap in the best French competition, Ligue Magnus.
The resident of Laney, British Columbia has 102 points (49G-53A) in 215 Echl games in 215 career.
Before he started his professional career, MacDonald gained 59 points (24G-35A) in 89 games with Brock University and added 15 points (7G-8A) in 17 Postseason matches. In four seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League, he scored 93 points (44G-49a) in 166 games in the regular season with a further 14 points (5G-9a) in 15 postseason matches.
