Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie describes jealous anger, discarded hotel rooms, strokes and bomb threats that have led to a $ 20 million settlement

A former friend of the music producer Sean “Diddy” Combs shared more disturbing accounts about her op-and-out relationship with Mr. Combs, which is right for sex trade and other charges. Cassandra Ventura also shared the amount of money that was not known that she received when she arranged her civil lawsuit against the rapper in 2023. She will probably undergo a fierce cross -hearing of the defense on Thursday.

“Who paid for $ 20 million?” An assistant -american lawyer, Emily Johnson, asked Mrs. Ventura on Wednesday afternoon in a federal courthouse in Lower Manhattan.

“Sean and his companies,” replied Mrs. Ventura.

Mrs Ventura has been on the witness bank since Tuesday and is considered an important witness in the case against Mr. Combs, who have accused federal prosecutors of racketeering conspiracy, sex trade and transport to prostitution. Mr. Combs is confronted with a maximum of life in prison when the jury condemns him. He is not guilty of all charges.

In November 2023, Mrs. Ventura, who had had a rocky relationship with Mr. Combs for eleven years, claimed an explosive civil lawsuit in those years of physical and sexual abuse from 2007 to 2018, and also that he raped her. The lawsuit between Mr. Combs and Mrs. Ventura was established in less than a day. But the accusations she made laid the foundation for the criminal charges with which he is now confronted in the federal court. The exact amount of the settlement in the court case of the bomb, which caused dozens of other lawsuits of both women and men against Mr. Combs, was only announced on Wednesday.

In their opening argument, the defense team claimed that Mr. Combs Ventura paid $ 30 million, as the sun reported, but on Wednesday Mrs. Ventura said she received $ 20 million.

The amount may seem astronomical, but until recently Mr. Combs was a homemade billionaire and Mrs. Ventura claims years of physical and sexual abuse.

During her testimony on Wednesday, Mrs. Ventura, who is eight and half a month pregnant with her third child with her husband, the Bull Rider and actor Alex Fine, whom she met in 2018, while Mr. Fine was a personal trainer for her and Mr. Combs, Zekte Zekt more extensive details about sexual abuse, such as Mr. Stamped her head and hit her so badly that she often had to hide in hotel rooms for days to recover.

Mrs. Ventura also said that she went briefly with the Grammy-winning rapper Kid Cudi, whose real name Scott Mescudi is around 2011, while she still had a relationship with Mr. Combs and once the music producer discovered about her affair, he said “that Scott’s car would be blown up.” Mr. Mescudi’s car was in fact set on fire in January 2012, but Mr. Combs denies any involvement in the incident.

Mrs. Ventura met Mr Combs, she said, shortly before Christmas in 2011, to discuss her affair, and Mr. Combs threatened her that he would publish video tapes that he had recorded that she had sex with male escorts during the “freak offs”.

“I went into his room and he was furious … he told me about the videos he had and how he would hurt Scott and I would hurt,” said Mrs. Ventura. “When I left … Sean kicked my back on my way … The day is blurry, but I had bruises in other places on my body. I remember that it just considerably because he literally kicked me in my back with the bottom of his foot.”

Mrs. Ventura testified that she was the house of Mr. Left Combs and went to a hotel, where she had gone and where she had held a ‘burner telephone’, a second phone she had used to go with Mr. Communicate mescudi. When she arrived, the room was thrown away.

“It was just torn … Someone peeed the floor in the bathroom. My clothes were everywhere. All the furniture was upside down. Someone pooped in the toilet and didn’t wash it. It was just dirty.”

She then traveled to Connecticut, where she was born and raised, to spend Christmas with her family. Mr. Mescudi came to visit her and she testified that she ended the relationship with him, because both she and Mr. Mescudi would have been “too much danger” if they would continue to see each other. “Sean said to me,” Mrs Ventura testified, referring to Mr Combs, “Before I left La that he would hurt us both. And at least I took that in my mind, such as if I stay in this situation, we will both be injured. If I don’t, then no one will be.”

Mrs. Ventura also spoke about a meeting in Los Angeles, between herself, Mr. Mescudi and Mr. Combs. “The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the relationship in which we were no longer,” she said, referring to the affair she had finished with Mr. Mescudi. “Scott said:” What about my vehicle? “And Sean said,” Which vehicle? ” ‘

Mrs. Ventura did not give any more details about the ‘vehicle’ on Wednesday, but according to Rolling stoneThose police files and the Los Angeles fire brigade, Mr Mescudi’s Porsche was set on fire on January 9, 2012 by a ‘fire brigade’ at an address of Los Angeles connected to him through public registers. No one was charged and Mr. Combs denied any involvement in a statement by his lawyers. But the indictment has mentioned ‘arson’ as one of the actions of the racketeering -entry and it could be that prosecutors refer to Mr. Mescudi’s car. The persecution had started the day by asking the 38-year-old Mrs. Ventura about the notorious hotel attack of 2016 that was trapped on security images and was sent to the public for the first time last year. The jury had seen the images on Monday, so Mr. Combs repeatedly kicked Mrs. Ventura while trying to flee to a lift in the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles. Only a few days after the attack, she attended a film premiere for her leading role in ‘The Perfect Match’. She told the jury that she had to cover her bruises with makeup and wear sunglasses to walk over the red carpet.

Another time, in 2013, Mr. Combs reportedly in a bed frame while she packed her suitcase to go to a music festival in Canada, she said she had a “pretty significant cut” above her left eye. The guards of Mr. Combs brought her, she said, to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills to raise the wound. She testified that she was Mr. Combs a photo of her wounded face texts and wrote: “So you can remember it.” The suspect replied: “You don’t know when to stop. You pushed it too far. And kept pushing. Sad.”

In another SMS exchange that she was shown to jury, Mr. Combs Mrs. Ventura to do a “right” sex party, without using the drug sketamine so that they could “remember” themselves.

“You know that we need a good FO (freak-off) without no k (ketamine) … a successful FO is when we remember,” SMS “Mr. Combs Mrs. Ventura on January 26, 2016.

“That is all we do and I just got back on track,” replied Mrs. Ventura, which means she was recovering. She later explained that during her eleven-year relationship she must have participated in “hundreds” of “Freak-offs”.

The jury also saw a photo of Mrs. Ventura’s apartment in Los Angeles, where she had placed a long kitchen knife in the door of the door next to the handle.

“I received many unannounced visits from Sean where he was angry and tried to kill two birds with one stone, to lock it up and have a weapon.” Mrs. Ventura answered.

When he was asked by an assistant lawyer, Emily Johnson, who interviewed her, when their relationship ended, the answer that Mrs. Ventura gave the jury to the accusation of rape, she had raised in her civil lawsuit, but was not charged with the criminal charge.

In their opening statement, the defense claimed that Mrs. Ventura left Mr. Combs in 2018, after he had made a statement at the funeral of his deceased partner Kim Porter, who is the mother of three of his seven children. Mrs. Porter died at the age of 47 of complications of pulmonary inflammation and a lawyer, Teny Geragos, said Monday that Mr. Combs Porter described as his “soulmate” at her funeral, and that this statement caused Mrs. Ventura to end their relationship because she realized: “She was never his wife, or the love of his life.

But Mrs. Ventura remembered a different scenario on Tuesday and said: “I had spent several years, such as, about a girl he went for in principle, such as, the last half of our relationship. And I, as an excuse for myself, I don’t know.

Then she met Mr. Combs in a restaurant and “We have a kind of closing conversation … He was just very nice … playful, laughing … kind of romantic vibes, kind of. But we were just normal,” said Mrs. Ventura. After dinner, Mr. Combs, she testified, drove her to her apartment.

“I went inside, went to the living room. He came in, pretty just, nothing weird, eh and then – and then he raped me in my living room,” she testified. “I just remember crying and said no. But it was very fast.”

Mrs. Ventura told the jury that she believed that Mr. Combs may not even have noticed that she was crying. His attitude had changed, she said, his eyes seemed “black” and he “was not himself.” She said, “Laughing and, like, all the things that happened earlier were not there.”

When the public prosecutor asked how Mr. Combs responded when she cried, Mrs. Ventura said: “He went on. I don’t even know if he saw it, to be honest.”

But after the alleged rape, Mrs. Ventura admitted that she saw him again and had sex again with him, this time ‘by choice’.

“Can you explain the jury why you agreed to see Sean again after the rape?” Mrs. Johnson asked.

“We have been together for more than ten years. Like, you can not only eliminate the feelings that way. We were still very connected at that time. I still had a good view of who he was as a person. I didn’t hate him,” Mrs Ventura replied.

The defense starts on Thursday with his cross -hearing and will probably press Mrs. Ventura on the same question: why did she continue to go back if he was so frightening and reckless?
