Scotland women fought back from three goals, but still lost 4-3 to France in Peffermill.

It was a thrilling start of the game for France when they took an early lead. A quick attack along the left result resulted in a near-after reduction by Delfina Gaspari for 1-0.

It went to 2-0 to France when a wonderful combination on the left opened the Scots for Eve Ververura to score a back-post-in-in.

Charlotte Watson, at her 100one Cap for Scotland, showed flashes of magic, but it was a first quarter that belonged to the French,

It went to 3-0 in the second quarter due to an exceptional passing movement in which Yohanna Lhopital Lob Jess Buchanan saw in a nice finish.

Charlotte Watson quickly pulled one back for Scotland when she pressed to win the ball before she threw it low in the left corner for 3-1.

France grabbed almost a fourth early in the second half when they make their way through the Scottish defense, but Verzura shot wide when the goal was gaping and left Scotland off the hook.
