A 16-stone law student who was branded a ‘whale’ by school pest heads says that she has fallen from a size 18 to a small size six using a simple method at home.
Jessica Turner, 20, shed an incredible 8th 3 pound after she had decided that she had had enough to harass by cruel colleagues.
Although she admitted that she was always ‘chubby’, Jessica said she stacked herself on the pounds after she had turned into junk food for comfort at school.
This, combined without practice, saw the 5FT 3in student from Caterham, Surrey finally tip the scales on 16th 5 pounds and balloon to a size 18.
Jessica says she was picked by classmates for her weight, with some people ‘too slow “when she walked the stairs, while others called her a’ whale ‘.
So when the Covid -Lockdown struck in 2020, Jessica decided to take things into his own hands.
The then 15-year-old started to do daily YouTube training at home by watching videos from fitness influencers Joe Wicks and Chloe Ting.
She also cut junk food from her diet – instead she concentrated on eating enough proteins.

“Throughout my life I had been quite a chubby girl and I struggled with my weight, so until that moment I didn’t know what it felt to feel confident in my body,” Jessica said.
“I saw eating as a source of comfort. I had a very low self -image, so I didn’t like to go out.
‘I looked in the mirror and never felt really beautiful.
“Covid hit and everything was closed and I thought” I have the chance to improve myself and I have a lot of time in my hands “.
‘It started with home workouts on YouTube and I started to learn a lot about food, I looked at Joe Wicks and Chloe Ting.
‘Once it started, I fell in love with the process and once you start seeing the results, it becomes easier.
‘I was 105 kg [16st 5lbs]So my health was at stake.

Earlier Jessica would regularly eat calorie rights, including pizza. But now the trim influencer prioritizes eating protein-rich diet with at least junk food, but urges people to lose weight not to be ‘scared’ to eat

Jessica said, “You can do everything, it’s a matter of being willing to take that dive and accept that you need change.”
‘I was bigger than my mother and most people in my family. I felt so miserable in myself that I didn’t really care what I was eating. ‘
Not only did the weight influence the health of the University of Exeter Jessica, but also her social life.
Jessica said: “[At school] People would make comments as if I was’ too slow “the stairs, I had called someone a whale before.
“They would laugh at me. I never felt that someone found me attractive and people would choose me in class because I was a bigger girl.
‘Many guys I have also found will only respect girls they find attractive
‘My old classmates are now following me on Instagram, which feels a bit weird – almost scary – because they have never paid me attention before.
‘Then you have guys trying to talk to me [on Instagram] And I am like ‘No, I remember what you did’.
‘I have never received really male attention for Uni.
‘I have not had long-term relationships, but I am very career-oriented, so I am a priority.
‘My self -confidence has certainly increased physically and mentally. If I had not completed my journey for weight loss, I would not be at a Russell Group Uni and I would not study any rights.
‘People treat me 100% differently, even on the street.
‘If you are a bigger girl, people don’t respect you that much. I never let anyone open the door for me, but as a girl I always get that now. ‘

Jessica said: ‘You can do everything, it is a matter of being willing to take that dive and accept that you need change.
‘I looked much smaller, but I had loose skin on my arms and legs, especially my inner thighs.
‘Only when I started with weightlifting did I begin to stimulate and build muscles. I have not looked back since then.
‘A typical day of food would be breakfast cereals in the morning, at school it would be pizza or a muffin, then I would probably go to the bakery on the road after school, and then during dinner it would be normally home -made food like a pasta -branch.
‘I used to ate a lot of cakes and chocolate because it would give me satisfaction for a short time.
‘I had vegetables, but after school I would do a small Tesco store and get a bag of candy and chocolates.
‘Now I make sure that I eat at least five fruit and vegetables every day, I have a protein goal that I hit every day that I eat about the amount recommended by the government that is 2,000 calories a day.
‘You don’t have to be afraid to eat, you can achieve your goals without starving yourself. I concentrate on balanced meals that will feed my training sessions.
‘I don’t just want to share my journey to celebrate how far I got, but to inspire others – to show that, regardless of where you start, it is possible to rise, grow and achieve what ever felt out of reach. If I can do it, you can do that too. ‘
