Bengaluru-based travel fintech Scapia and Federal Bank have launched a new add-on credit card feature, which allows primary cardholders to share credit limits and travel benefits with up to three family members aged 18 or older.
The add-on card feature allows primary cardholders to allocate portions of their credit limit to additional users, who get independent app access, instant OTPs and personalized transaction visibility. Both primary and additional cardholders can earn and redeem Scapia Coins, access unlimited domestic lounge visits and avoid currency fees once they meet individual spending criteria. The onboarding process is completely digital, with immediate virtual cards issued upon completion of KYC and physical cards delivered within five to seven days.
Perks and digital onboarding
Scapia Store offers travel products from brands such as Columbia, Daily Objects, Tripole and Nasher Miles in various categories, including clothing, accessories and luggage. The platform offers destination-based shopping, allowing users to browse products by travel destination, season and trip type. Purchases earn 20 percent back in Scapia Coins, redeemable for future shopping or travel bookings. The platform plans to expand to more than 10,000 products across 50 subcategories.
These launches are part of Scapia’s Winter Product Release, which also includes Scapia Experiences. The company now operates in seven travel categories and is expanding beyond the main credit card and booking services. The Scapia-Federal Bank Credit Card is available for more than 7,500 PIN codes in India.
