Sarah Rothwell lists Bondi Beach penthouse – realestate.com.au

The ex-wife of a famous property developer. now a successful investor herself, has put her Bondi Beach penthouse with breathtaking ocean views up for auction.

Sarah Rothwell, formerly married to Winten Property Group director David Rothwell, is guided at $7.75 million-$8.5 million for a March 7 auction through McGrath Pyrmont’s William Manning for the property.

Rothwell had purchased the 251 square meter three-bedroom, three-bathroom property with double parking at 14/102-106 Campbell Pde, Bondi Beach in 2018 for $4.4 million.

At the time, Manning had achieved sales of $60 million during the month, including the $29 million sale of James Packer’s bachelor pad in Bondi Beach, which for many years was the Australasian coastal record.

The real estate investor purchased the beach pad in 2018 for $4.4 million.

The Bondi Beach penthouse had been a money spinner for Rothwell, bringing in $5,000 a week on the permanent rental market and between $15,000 and $20,000 a week in the short term, thanks to its prominent beachfront location.

The versatile floor plan flows to outdoor environments, including a breathtaking beachfront terrace.

There are rain showers in the luxurious ensuites and the kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances and a buffet bar.

Rothwell, who lives in Palm Beach, also owns a $10.5 million sub-penthouse in the Top of the Town development in Darlinghurst.

And last March she sold a double bedroom at 7/70 Campbell Pde, Bondi Beach for $4,625,000.
