Santana Garrett loves lifting weights and has a home gym in her garage, but when time is short, an efficient full-body circuit keeps this woman of wrestling in firm control of her body.

“The workout I’m sharing is a full-body routine that you can do anywhere, and can be modified to be easier or harder,” Garrett tells me. M&F. “It’s perfect for keeping the body moving and the mind sharp, even with a busy schedule or while traveling.”

All you need is about ten minutes, a mat and the desire to start sweating. Here’s how to try it out for yourself.

To complete this circuit, perform each of these 9 exercises for 40 seconds, followed by 20 seconds of rest.

  • Jump squats
  • Push-ups (normal or with knee support)
  • Alternate reverse lunges
  • Shelf shoulder taps
  • Glute bridges
  • Mountain climbers
  • Superman back extensions
  • Alternating side lunges
  • High knees

After these 9 minutes of work, Garrett recommends that you take a minute (or longer) for a well-deserved cool down and use movements such as the forward fold stretch, shoulder rolls, and hip flexor stretches.

“For me, longevity, both in wrestling and in life, comes down to staying consistent, even when there’s only time for something quick,” says the in-demand professional wrestler, who is also co-owner of ‘Quicksilver Scientific,” a health, wellness and other agency company. Garrett explains that this circuit can also be modified depending on the individual’s fitness level.

For example, beginners can spend half the working time on each exercise, and those who are more experienced can double the number of rounds to create a 20-minute workout instead. Either way, the moves here are designed to attack you from head to toe, build muscle while improving posture and mobility, and burn fat by increasing your heart rate.

For recovery, Garett says she likes to incorporate sauna sessions, red light therapy, and the Pulse PEMF machine into her routine. “All this helps me stay mentally and physically strong all year round,” explains the gifted wrestler. And when it comes to nutrition, the inspirational star says she hopes to one day visit schools and help our young people learn the value of healthy eating and “just having a balanced approach.”

The professional wrestler says that growing up she didn’t understand what ultra-processed foods were, and it wasn’t until adulthood that she learned the importance of regulating her diet in terms of things like sugary cereals and soda. “I didn’t have that knowledge growing up, and I’d like to incorporate that into my story and how I followed my dreams of becoming a professional athlete,” the star enthuses.
