Conway has been released from the Durban Super Giants squad for the remainder of the SA20 season due to national commitments. The left-handed batsman has been selected in the New Zealand squad for their white-ball tour of India, which includes three ODIs and five T20Is scheduled between January 11 and January 31.
Liam Livingstone picked for INR 13 crore by SRH for IPL 2026
Livingstone is regarded as one of the most destructive middle-order batsmen in the format as the England all-rounder has a career T20 strike rate of 145.06. In the IPL 2026 auction, he was picked up by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a whopping INR 13 crore after an intense bidding war with Lucknow Super Giants. Despite going unsold on his first attempt, SRH showed confidence in his abilities.
Livingstone had quite an individual season during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s title-winning IPL 2025 campaign, scoring 112 runs in eight innings. His white ball form has been solid since then. He captained Birmingham Phoenix in the Hundred and finished as the team’s leading points scorer with 241 points, while also contributing with the ball. He followed it up with a strong T20 Blast season for Lancashire.
After five games, the Durban Super Giants are in fourth place on the SA20 points table. With one win, two losses and two no results, and eight points, it remains behind Joburg Super Kings, Paarl Royals and Sunrisers Eastern Cape. DSG will play against Pretoria Capitals at Kingsmead on January 7.
Durban Super Giants’ updated roster for SA20 2025-26:
