Ryanair bosses say that the decision is due to ‘harmful’ taxes on tickets and they had ‘no choice’ but to take the drastic action.

It is bad news for travelers who looked forward to going to Strasbourg this winter, often known as Europe’s ‘Capital of Christmas’ because of his markets that attract around two million worldwide visitors every party season.

In the meantime, wine lovers will miss Mrs. Merlots and Sauvignon Blancs in Bergerac, while Brive is often considered an entrance gate for those who want to explore the Dordogne.

Jason McGuinness, Chief Commercial Officer of Ryanair, said in a statement that the French government could not have acted.

The statement continued: ‘This fully avoidable loss will have a serious impact on regional connectivity, tourism and local employment.

“Unless the government changes course and abolishing it, the capacity and investments of Ryanair in France will inevitably be diverted to more competing European markets such as Sweden, Hungary or parts of Italy.”

Bucharest has the beautiful buildings, with trees lined boulevards and Swish cafés that we associate with Paris against a dramatic cheaper price.

Recently arranged in 9th place in the Times ‘Roundup of ’24 of the best affordable city breaks in Europe’, Romania actively welcomes the capital and the largest city tourists.

The government is pour To accommodation and public transport in an attempt to attract travelers, while other countries push them away.

In the 19th and 20th centuries, Bucharest was a hotspot for French artists and intellectuals, who visited the city. At that time, society reflected the Parisian way, with a focus on fashion, elegance and refinement. Likewise, prominent Romanian artists, including Constantin Brâncuși, studied in Bucharest before making their names in Paris.

Visually the city earned its ‘Little Paris’ nickname thanks to its architectural similarities with the capital of France. The Streetshave comparable graceful flowering of neoclassical, art nouveau, art deco and Romanian revival can be seen on every corner.

Metro ‘S Alice Murphy spent a day in the park during a trip to Romania and said it is easily accessible by train, bus, taxi or on foot.

She also recommends the free walking tour through Bucharest, where you can learn about the history and culture of the city, and a visit to the National Village Museum to discover how people live in the Romania countryside.

Of course there is no European city interruption complete without a walk through the old city.

The pedestrian area of Bucharest is very touristy friendly and full of terraces, cafés, restaurants and shops.
