Russia State of Emergency declared as 130 tourists caught and dozens of Evacuat

A state of emergency has been explained in a municipality in South Russia, where around 130 tourists are imprisoned after a horror form. The group of tourists is stuck in Goryachy Klyuch, a city in Krasnodar Krai, according to a Russian public telegram.

Emergency services have been sent to save the tourists who were trapped after a shallow river flooded through it. A group of 17 tourists was actually saved near the city of Goryachiy Klyuch. One of the tourists had a broken leg and received medical help. About 40 people have been evacuated so far and more than 70 households have been flooded.

The bridge over the Shapsukho River collapsed in the village of Lermontovo and left 300 residential buildings without the crossing.

Horror images from the stage see streets that are flooded with water and houses immersed in water, temporary accommodation points are open for the affected.

A tornado was reported on a beach in Agoi, Krasnodar Krai, so that the locals are preparing for evacuation. In the meantime, the coast of Sochi, near Tuapse, was hit by a series of heavy rain showers.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency has introduced a state of emergency in the Tuapse district, Krasnodar Krai due to flooding.

The governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratev said in his telegram: “The bridge was driven in Lermontovo, it was in an emergency. Moreover, the traffic was temporarily limited by Moldavians by landslides.

“Referring traffic was organized in the Jubga region.

“I recommend drivers to take this into account when putting together the route. The rescuers are now evacuating the tourist groups in the region.”

More than 150 employees of the Ministry of Emergency situations and 44 units of equipment have been sent to help eliminate the consequences of the floods.
