The Marfa Lights Trail

If you like all things spooky, mysterious and inexplicable, then you have to go your way to West -Texas to view the Marfa lights.
They were seen for the first time in the 1800s and have since signed stargazers, scientists and conspiracy theorists as flies.
The glowing bulbs or flickering light balls are usually white, yellow, orange or red and float, dart, merger and zippers over the night sky.
They are usually seen near Mitchell Flat, which is about 9 miles east of Marfa, and there is a viewing platform where you will meet other curiosity seekers every night.
Most scientists believe that the lights are the result of atmospheric reflections, effects of tectonic stress on quartz or headlights and campfires distorted at a distance.
The more open -minded among us blames spirits or Indian spirits, UFOs or other energy deviations that arise because of the unique geology of the area.
If you want to see them for yourself and form your own theory while you are going to do a job, there is a half -mile trace that offers a perfect view of the nearby sky.
You see the lights most likely after sunset or sunrise.
