Ruben Amorim: I don’t know what will happen if man plays UTD

Ruben Amorim has admitted that he does not know what will happen if his husband Utd goes on the field every week.

The Red Devils have not found any consistency among the Portuguese tactician, who supervised 18 victories, 12 draws and 18 defeats in all competitions since he took the lead last November.

This weekend, United is looking forward to Brentford Weg is looking for successive victories in the Premier League for the first time since Amorim was appointed.

Asked for a feeling of Wariness under the fan base to put together back-to-back victories, Amorim admitted that he shares a similar image of the supporters.

“It’s normal for the fans, they don’t know what’s going to happen in the next game,” he said in the Embargo part of the pre-match press conference on Friday.

“To be honest, I have an idea, but I don’t know what it will be like and I am the manager of the team.

“That has to do with the moment we live for so many months. The best way to deal with it is that every game is the last. It just doesn’t think about two games.

“Yes, it is a big problem for Manchester United. The next game will be the most important game for Manchester United for a long time.

“I understand the feeling of the fans. Let’s start to change that feeling and present ourselves that urgency that we have to do on the field.”

Amorim begged his husband UTD team to play with a “feeling of urgency” and started strongly as they did in last Saturday’s 2-1 win over Chelsea in Old Trafford.

“I don’t say ‘playing well’ because I think we did that this year,” said Amorim.

“It’s really important [that Man Utd win back-to-back games]I think and we talked about that at the end of the game. It is really important for us to have that sense of urgency that we have to win, whatever happens, and it will be very difficult.

“Every time we start preparing the game and you look at the next opponent, you think it will be really difficult. I have that feeling.

“But for me we can’t control the result of the game. The most important thing is to start the game as we start against Chelsea, the way we start against Burnley, the way we start against Arsenal.

“In these types of games we must be prepared and have the feeling that we have to win every game.”
