The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament draw took place on Saturday afternoon, resulting in a slew of big matches in an absolutely stacked field, even after Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev withdrew.
Alex de Minaur is the number 1 seeded player, but the draw did him no favors. The Australian faces Arthur Fils in the opening round before potentially facing Stan Wawrinka in the last 16 and Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarter-finals. Daniil Medvedev and Ugo Humbert are also in the top half of the group, and they go head to head straight away.
In addition to De Minaur vs. Fils and Medvedev vs. Humbert, there are other first round matches to watch: Alexander Bublik vs. Hubert Hurkacz, Tallon Greek Spoor vs. Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, and Felix Auger-Aliassime vs. Alexei Popyrin.
Auger-Aliassime, the No. 2 seed, is currently playing in Montpellier – where he will attempt to defend his 2025 title against Adrian Mannarino on Sunday.
