EAST LANSING, MI – Ron Osborne was announced as the lone member of the Michigan PGA Hall of Fame Induction Class of 2025. He was recognized at the Michigan PGA President’s Dinner on Sunday, October 19 at The Graduate Hotel East Lansing and at the Section’s Fall Meeting on Monday, October 20 at Eagle Eye Golf Club.
Osborne has been a member of the PGA since 1992 and recently retired from the position of General Manager and Head Golf Professional at Binder Park Golf Course in Battle Creek, MI.
A passionate advocate for junior golf, Ron served for eight years as chairman of the Michigan PGA Junior Golf Committee, where he was recognized as Junior Golf Leader of the Year in both 2000 and 2001. Under his leadership, Binder Park also hosted the PGA Junior League State Championships five times in the past six years.
Ron’s leadership extends beyond the course. He has held leadership positions within both the Western Chapter and the Michigan PGA Section, including section secretary, vice president and president (2016-2017). His dedication and professionalism were recognized when he was named Michigan PGA Section Golf Professional of the Year in 2012.
In 2019, Ron continued his service to the profession at the national level as District 5 Director for PGA of America. His career reflects a lifelong dedication to the game, its players and fellow professionals.
The Michigan PGA Hall of Fame was established in 2011 and is intended to recognize and recognize PGA professionals who have excelled in their profession, achieved notable achievements and made significant contributions to the game, the industry and the Michigan PGA.
